The War Memorial Library in Hudson is a non-profit registered charity providing a subscription library of printed and digital materials, primarily in the English language, to the residents of Hudson, Quebec and surrounding communities.Operated by volunteers, the Library is self-financing through membership fees, donations and fund raising activities. The Library in turn donates, to local charities, funds in excess of its own needs.The building and the Library serve as a memorial to those in Hudson who served in the Canadian Armed Forces.

Hudson Box Office (HBO) - Chasing Shadows

Chasing Shadows is a British crime drama folllowing the work of a missing persons unit. Reece Shearsmith plays the socially awkward misfit, Detective Sergeant Sean Stone who would rather work with data than people. He is teamed up with Ruth Hattersley, played by Alex Kingston, who is a born connector able to get on with anyone, but Stone pushes her patience to the limit. Stone's caseload is overwhelming, but his brilliant mind turns out to be perfectly adapted to his new role. The library has the dvd. Click here for more details.
