The War Memorial Library in Hudson is a non-profit registered charity providing a subscription library of printed and digital materials, primarily in the English language, to the residents of Hudson, Quebec and surrounding communities.Operated by volunteers, the Library is self-financing through membership fees, donations and fund raising activities. The Library in turn donates, to local charities, funds in excess of its own needs.The building and the Library serve as a memorial to those in Hudson who served in the Canadian Armed Forces.

The Write Stuff - Tom Rachman

Born in London and raised in Vancouver, Tom Rachman is a graduate of the University of Toronto and the Columbia School of Journalism. He was a foreign correspondent for the Associated Press. In 2006, he worked part-time as an editor at the International Herald Tribune in Paris to support himself while writing fiction. His first novel, The Imperfectionists, was an international bestseller, published in more than 25 languages.  His second novel, The Rise and Fall of Great Powers, was published in June 2014.
Rachman lives in London and is working on his third novel.
