The War Memorial Library in Hudson is a non-profit registered charity providing a subscription library of printed and digital materials, primarily in the English language, to the residents of Hudson, Quebec and surrounding communities.Operated by volunteers, the Library is self-financing through membership fees, donations and fund raising activities. The Library in turn donates, to local charities, funds in excess of its own needs.The building and the Library serve as a memorial to those in Hudson who served in the Canadian Armed Forces.

The Write Stuff - Mike Offit

Mike Offit began a twenty-year Wall Street career after graduating from Brown University, abandoning advertising, and earning an MBA from Columbia University. He rose to become a senior trader at Goldman Sachs, and to head the commercial mortgage and asset-backed securities trading desks at First Boston, Prudential, and finally at Deutsche Bank. After retiring, he returned to writing. The Library recently acquired his debut novel Nothing Personal:  A Novel of Wall Street.

Hudson Box Office (HBO) - WPC 56

WPC 56 is a British television drama series, written by Dominique Moloney and broadcast on BBC One. The series revolves around the first Woman Police Constables to join Brinford Constabulary, a fictional police force in the West Midlands, starting in 1956. The first two series focused on WPC Gina Dawson's struggle to gain acceptance at a male-dominated police station while having to deal with the sexist attitudes that were commonplace at the time.

Murder Ink - Stuart Neville

Stuart Neville's debut novel, The Ghosts of Belfast, won the Mystery/Thriller category of the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, and was picked as one of the top crime novels of 2009 by both the New York Times and the LA Times. He has been shortlisted for various awards and has since published three critically acclaimed sequels. Neville’s novels have been translated into various languages and his fourth novel is currently in development for television.  He lives in Belfast.
