Heartfelt
thanks to Lowell Gasoi for his thoughtful and fun take on Shakespeare
and his life-affirming words!! His brains and obvious good heart were
both present in the best way. His fellow actors (Amanda MacDonald and
Diana Gausden) were wonderful, too, sharing Juliet's breathless and
determined(!) desire, and 2 completely different interpretations of
Kate's advice of 'how to be' from The Taming of the Shrew. Our guests
were really delighted.
Please
know that the War Memorial Library loves to connect with friends in the
community, so if you ever seek workshop space, or a keen audience to
try things out on...we are here!
Big thanks is also due to Sherri Smith Graham and her As Kneaded crew...the baking was delish. (Except for those homemade oreos, which were SUPER-delish, and even a bit evil).
Thank you Hudson volunteer librarians, for setting up and cleaning, too.
Finally: thank you friends that came by, or sent good wishes. You all made it a beautiful event.
