Hudson Box Office (HBO) - Manhunt
Manhunt is a British true-crime drama series based on the memoirs of DCI Sutton, in a case that captivated the UK. When a young French woman is murdered in London, the investigation yields no forensics, motive or witnesses. But when Sutton connects the crime to two other murders, he realises he must hunt down a serial killer. Martin Clunes is a revelation as Sutton (completely different from Doc Martin!) The library has just acquired the DVD of this excellent series. For more details click here

Murder Ink - Ann Cleeves

bestselling and award-winning author of the Vera
and Shetland series, The Long Call is
set in North Devon, where Ann grew up. The Two
Rivers series features a new detective, the reserved and complex Detective
Inspector Matthew Venn. Estranged from
the strict evangelical community in which he grew up, and from his own family,
DI Venn is drawn back by murder into the community he thought he had left
behind.
The screen rights to The
Long Call have already been optioned by Silverprint Pictures, the company
that produced Shetland (BBC) and Vera
(ITV).
