The Write Stuff - Helen Oyeyemi

Multi-award winning author Helen Oyeyemi was born in Nigeria in 1984 and brought up in the UK. She studied social and political sciences at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University, and wrote her first novel The Icarus Girl while studying for her A levels. The library has just acquired her latest novel What is not yours is not yours. This enchanting collection of intertwined stories is cleverly built around the idea of keys, literal and metaphorical. The keys to a house, a heart and a secret unlock elements of her characters' lives, and span multiple times and landscapes. Oyeyemi now lives in Prague and the library has several of her other novels. To visit her online click here.
