The War Memorial Library in Hudson is a non-profit registered charity providing a subscription library of printed and digital materials, primarily in the English language, to the residents of Hudson, Quebec and surrounding communities.Operated by volunteers, the Library is self-financing through membership fees, donations and fund raising activities. The Library in turn donates, to local charities, funds in excess of its own needs.The building and the Library serve as a memorial to those in Hudson who served in the Canadian Armed Forces.

The Write Stuff - David Bell

David Bell is an award-winning American author. He is an associate professer of English at Western Kentucky University, where he directs an MFA in creative writing. The library has just acquired a copy of his latest novel, Somebody's Daughter : Michael Frazier's ex-wife Erica unexpectedly turns up on his doorstep, and drops a bombshell that her ten year old daughter is missing, and he is the father. Unsure whether this is the truth, but unwilling to leave the girl's fate to chance, Michael has no choice but to follow the elusive trail of the child he has always wanted, but never knew he had.
