Hudson Box Office (HBO) - To Walk Invisible: The Bronte Sisters
To Walk Invisible is a British TV film written and directed by Sally Wainwright, focusing on the relationship between Charlotte, Emily and Anne and their brother Branwell. In the patriarchal society of the nineteenth century, the sisters face a bleak future with their father half-blind and Branwell in failing health. Charlotte sees that writing could offer a way out. This is the story of the sisters' great novels, and their extraordinary battle for recognition. The library has just acquired the DVD. Click here for more details.
