Hudson Box Office (HBO) - Mercy Street
Mercy Street is an American period, medical drama television series, created by Lisa Wolfinger and David Zabel. It is set during the Civil War, and follows two volunteer nurses from opposing sides, who work at the Mansion House Hospital in Alexandria, Virginia. The series was inspired by memoirs and letters from doctors and volunteers who worked there, and prides itself on being historically and medically accurate. Starring McKinley Belcher and Suzanne Bertish, the library has just acquired the first series. Click here for more details.
