The Write Stuff - Kerry Clare
Kerry Clare is a National Magazine Award writer, and editor of The M Word:Conversations about Motherhood, which was published to rave reviews in 2014. The library has a copy of her first novel Mitzi Bytes, which tells the story of Sarah, who starts an anonymous blog after a devastating divorce. Fifteen years later and happily remarried, Sarah writes about the experiences and feelings of her family and friends until someone threatens to expose her. Mitzi Bytes examines the bonds of family and friendship. Kerry Clare lives in Toronto with her husband and two daughters.

Hudson Box Office (HBO) - Happy Valley
Happy Valley is a gritty British crime drama set in West Yorkshire in Northern England. It was created and written by Sally Wainwright, and stars Sarah Lancashire and Siobhan Finneran. Sarah Lancashire plays a police sergeant investigating cases, while having to cope with personal tragedy. It has won BAFTA awards for best drama series and best actress (Lancashire), aswell as numerous nominations. The library has both seasons of this brilliant drama.

Murder Ink - Becky Masterman
Becky Masterman created her heroine, Brigid Quinn, while
working as an editor for a forensic science and law enforcement press. Her
debut thriller, Rage Against the Dying,
was a finalist for the Edgar Awards and the CWA Gold Dagger, as well as the
Macavity, Barry, ITW and Anthony awards.
The Library has the complete Quinn series recently acquiring
Volumes 2 and 3, Fear the darkness
and Twist of the knife.
