The War Memorial Library in Hudson is a non-profit registered charity providing a subscription library of printed and digital materials, primarily in the English language, to the residents of Hudson, Quebec and surrounding communities.Operated by volunteers, the Library is self-financing through membership fees, donations and fund raising activities. The Library in turn donates, to local charities, funds in excess of its own needs.The building and the Library serve as a memorial to those in Hudson who served in the Canadian Armed Forces.

Hudson Box Office (HBO) - The Widower


The Widower is a three part drama originally shown on British television. It is based on the crimes of convicted murderer Malcolm Webster. Over a thirteen year period, this seemingly mild-mannered male nurse, set about poisoning and murdering his first wife and attempted to do the same to his second wife. After this he moved on to a further scheme to deceive his then fiancee.The Widower moves between the UK and New Zealand, it stars Reece Shearsmith as Malcolm Webster, and is written by Jeff Pope. The library has the DVD.
