Allison Leotta was a federal prosecutor in Washington,
D.C., specializing in felony sex crimes and domestic violence for 12 years. In
2011, she left the Department of Justice to pursue writing fulltime. She has
been dubbed “the female John Grisham”.
Leotta is the author of several books and founder of the
award-winning blog, The Prime-Time Crime Review. Her weekly recaps of Law &
Order: SVU are carried by The Huffington Post.
