The Write Stuff - Mary Simses

Mary Simses grew up in Darien, Connecticut and started writing stories when she was eight. In college she majored in journalism.  Simses worked in magazine publishing for a few years and then went back to school to become a lawyer. After graduating, Simses enrolled in an evening fiction writing class at a university. From then on, she was hooked. Simses wrote a lot at night and on weekends, and managed to get several short stories published in literary magazines. She finally took the big leap and wrote The Irresistible Blueberry Bakeshop & Café.
Simses now lives in South Florida with her husband and their daughter. She is working on another novel. Click here to visit her website.
