The War Memorial Library in Hudson is a non-profit registered charity providing a subscription library of printed and digital materials, primarily in the English language, to the residents of Hudson, Quebec and surrounding communities.Operated by volunteers, the Library is self-financing through membership fees, donations and fund raising activities. The Library in turn donates, to local charities, funds in excess of its own needs.The building and the Library serve as a memorial to those in Hudson who served in the Canadian Armed Forces.

Murder Ink- Jo Nesbo

Jo Nesbo is Norway's leading crime writer. A graduate of the Norway School of Economics, Nesbo also writes childrens' books and is the lead singer of the rock band Di Derre.
The library recently acquired The Leopard, The Redeemer & The Snowman and a request has been placed to obtain The Oslo Trilogy all featuring Inspector Harry Hole, a brilliant detective and not so brilliant human being.
A stand alone mystery, Headhunters is also on request. The book has been made into a major motion movie being featured at this year's Toronto Film Festival.
