Diana Evans is a British novelist, who was born and lives in London, the daughter of a Nigerian mother and an English father. She completed an MA in Creative Writing and became a Journalist. She has written three award-wining novels and the library has just acquired her latest work, Ordinary People. Set in London it tells the story of two couples against the background of Barack Obama's historic election victory. Hudson Box Office (HBO) - Acceptable Risk
Acceptable Risk is an Irish television crime drama series, first broadcast in 2017. Elaine Cassidy stars as Dublin-based Sarah Manning whose husband, Lee, is murdered while on a business trip to Montreal. The ensuing investigation reveals more questions than answers, and Manning finds herself under suspicion, and her life under surveillance. The library has just acquired the first series.
