The Write Stuff - Karen Thompson Walker
Born and raised in St Diego, Karen Thompson Walker is an assistant professor of creative writing at the University of Oregon. Her award winning first novel, The Age of Miracles, was a New York Times best seller. The library has just acquired her second novel The Dreamers. An ordinary town is transformed by a mysterious illness that triggers perpetual sleep. The Dreamers is written in luminous prose and is a startling, provocative and beautiful novel about the possibilities contained within our waking days, and even more within our dreams. Walker lives with her husband, the novelist Casey Walker and their two daughters in Portland. To visit her online click here.

Hudson Box Office (HBO) - Keeping Faith
Keeping Faith is a Welsh thriller television series created by Matthew Hall. It was first broadcast in Welsh with English subtitles, but an English version was later broadcast to the whole of the UK due to it's popularity. It stars Eve Myles as Faith Howells, a solicitor at a family-run law firm. Her husband, Evan, disappears shortly after the birth of their third child. It was described in The Guardian as a bit like Big Little Lies relocated to rural Wales. The library has just acquired the first series. For more details click here.

Also,
remember to share your feelings about the book with other patrons - write your review on a card and post it on the Suggestion Board.
