Hudson Box Office (HBO) - DCI Banks

Peter Robinson's DCI Banks series is now available on DVD. The tenacious and stubborn DCI Alan Banks unravels disturbing murder mysteries aided by his feisty and ambitious young assistant, DS Annie Cabbot.
Unlike many police procedurals, that focus on the  idiosyncrasies on the main character, this effort is true to Robinson's vision of competent police work resolving complex crimes.
The library has the first two seasons. For more information link here.

Murder Ink - Robert Pobi

Before becoming an international bestselling novelist, Robert Pobi dealt in fine Georgian antiques for thirteen years. In warm weather he spends much of his time at a cabin on a secluded lake in the mountains and when the mercury falls he heads to the Florida Keys. He divides his time between Montreal, Northern California and Florida.
The library recently acquired his debut thriller Eye of the Storm (formerly titled Bloodman).  Please use the Suggestion Book if you are interested in reading his other novels.  Click here to visit Pobi’s website.
