Delia Owens was born in rural Georgia, from an early age she was connected to nature and graduated in zoology from the
University of Georgia. In 1974 she moved to Africa with her husband, and lived there for twenty years studying wildlife. She wrote three award winning books about their time there. The library recently acquired her first novel
