Carrie Smith grew up in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, and attended the Residential College at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor
where she majored in Creative Writing and Literature. She is the author of
three Claire Codella Mysteries: Silent City, Forgotten City and Unholy City, which the library recently
acquired.
By day, Smith is Senior Vice President and publisher of
Benchmark Education Company.
