John Connell spent years working as a cameraman on some
of the biggest films and television shows, including Jurassic Park and NYPD Blue.
He loved the travel, the excitement, and the art of bringing stories to the
screen but longed to move from behind the scenes helping bring to life someone
else’s story, to writing his own. His novel, Ruins of War, a unique historical thriller set in postwar Germany garnered
national acclaim.
Connell now lives with his wife in Madrid, Spain, where
he is currently working on the third book in the Mason Collins series.
