The Write Stuff - Aravind Adiga

Aravind Adiga is an Indo-Australian writer and Journalist. He grew up in Bangalore, emigrated to Australia and completed his studies at Columbia and Oxford Universities. His debut novel The White Tiger, won the 2008 Booker prize.The library has just acquired his most recent novel, Selection Day , which is a compelling tale of cricket and corruption in modern day Mumbai. It tells the story of two brothers and their ambitious father, who pushes them to try and make the grade as top cricketers. The issues explored are relevant for other sports too. Hudson Box Office (HBO) - Endeavour

Endeavour is a British television detective drama series. It's a prequel to the long running series Inspector Morse, and, like that series, is set primarily in Oxford. Shaun Evans portrays a young Endeavour Morse, beginning his career as a Detective Constable, after dropping out of Oxford University in the sixties. Fans of Inspector Morse won't be disappointed by this excellent series with all the period detail of course. The library has just acquired the third season.Click here for more details.

Murker Ink - Ingrid Thoft

Ingrid Thoft was born in Boston and is a graduate of Wellesley College. Her interest in the PI life and her desire to create a believable PI character led her to the certificate program in private investigation at the University of Washington. 
The Library acquired her most recent novel Duplicity, fourth in the Fina Ludlow series.  Her previous novels have been ordered and will be placed in circulation in the next couple of weeks.
