The Write Stuff - Hazel Gaynor

Hazel Gaynor is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of The Girl Who Came Home and A Memory of Violets. She was selected by US Library Journal as one of ‘Ten Big Breakout Authors’ for 2015.
Gaynor is one of nine contributing authors to WWI anthology Fall of Poppies - Stories of Love and the Great War (March 2016). Her third novel The Girl from the Savoy will be published in June 2016. The Library has acquired her most recent novel.

Hudson Box Office (HBO) - Poldark

Poldark is a British drama series based on the novels of the same name by Winston Graham. It was originally screened between 1975-1977 and was a huge hit . Set in 18th century Cornwall, Ross Poldark returns from 3 years of fighting in the American War of Independance, to find his father dead, his estate in ruins and his true love engaged to his cousin. He rescues a fiery young woman, Demelza, and takes her on as a kitchen maid, and he also attempts to regain control of his tin mines. The new adaptation stars Aidan Quinn as Ross, Eleanor Tomlinson as Demelza and is adapted by Debbie Horsfield. The series is set against the magnificent Cornish coastline and is definately one for the ladies! Murder Ink - Dolores Redondo

Dolores Redondo was born in Donostia-San Sebastián in 1969. She studied Law and Gastronomy and worked in business for a few years. 
Redondo began writing short stories and children's stories and in 2009 published her first novel, The Privileges of the Angel. The Invisible Guardian is the first installment of the Batzan Trilogy, three gripping landscape thrillers set in the Basque Pyrenees, which have sold over 300,000 copies in Spain and has been translated into 32 languages. The Library has acquired this novel.
