Elmore Leonard Dies at 87

One of the masters of crime fiction past away earlier today. Elmore Leonard will be greatly missed by his fans.
He started his writing career with Western short stories and then novels including Hombre and 3.10 to Yuma but when Westerns lost popularity moved on to crime.
Nineteen of his stories hit the silver screen, the most successful were Get Shorty and Out of Sight. To read the New York Times obituary click here .

The Write Stuff - Kristin Hannah

Kristin Hannah is the New York Times bestselling author of 18 novels, including the blockbuster Firefly Lane and Night Road. She worked in a trendy advertising agency before deciding to go to law school. Hannah graduated from law school in Washington and practiced law in Seattle before becoming a full-time writer. She has won numerous romance writer's awards including the Golden Heart, the Maggie and 1996 National Reader's Choice. She lives on Bainbridge Island, Washington, with her husband and their son.

Hudson Box Office (HBO) - Mr. Selfridge

Mr. Selfridge is a British period television drama about Harry Gordon Selfridge and his London department store Selfridge & Co.
Selfridge is portrayed by Jeremy Piven , formerly the star of HBO's Entourage.
The first season follows Selfridge's founding and its impact on the staid British retail scene as well as Harry's family and extra-marital affairs.

Murder Ink - Michael Robotham

Before writing full-time Michael Robotham was an investigative journalist in Britain, Australia and the US.  In 1993, he quit journalism to become a ghostwriter, collaborating with politicians, pop stars, psychologists, adventurers and show business personalities to write their autobiographies. Twelve of these non-fiction titles were bestsellers.
In 2002, Robotham’s first psychological thriller “Suspect” sold more than one million copies around the world and was translated into 22 languages. His most recent novel, his eighth, entitled “Say You’re Sorry” was released in 2012. 
Robotham lives in Sydney with his wife and three daughters.
