The War Memorial Library in Hudson is a non-profit registered charity providing a subscription library of printed and digital materials, primarily in the English language, to the residents of Hudson, Quebec and surrounding communities.Operated by volunteers, the Library is self-financing through membership fees, donations and fund raising activities. The Library in turn donates, to local charities, funds in excess of its own needs.The building and the Library serve as a memorial to those in Hudson who served in the Canadian Armed Forces.

The Write Stuff - Sara O'Leary

Hudson resident Sara O'Leary is a graduate of the UBC Creative Writing Programme, and she has an MA in English and Creative Writing from Concordia University.She has published fiction, childrens' books,plays and criticism. Her award-winning childrens' books are picture books for young children. The library has The Henry Trilogy and "This is Sadie", illustrated by Julie Morstad, and we have just acquired "You are One" illustrated by Karen Klassen. You can visit Sara online here.

Hudson Box Office (HBO) - The Americans

The Americans is an American period drama series, created and produced by former CIA officer Joe Weisberg. Set in the early 1980s during the cold war, it focuses on the personal and professional relationships of two Soviet KGB officers posing as an American married couple. They live in the suburbs of Washington D.C. with their unsuspecting children and and a neighbour who is an FBI agent working in counter intelligence.
