Wonderful response

Penny by penny, dollar by dollar, the people coming through the doors and down the stairs of the Library Shoppe this past Saturday contributed to the cause of helping the Haitian people. We want to thank them for their wonderful generosity. And we want to let them know that every penny and every dollar collected will be sent this week to assist the Canadian Red Cross in their important work.

The Need is Great in Haiti

Where to begin in the effort to rebuild the city of Port-au-Prince and the lives of its inhabitants?
The task is so enormous it seems beyond imagining. As always,it begins with the efforts of one individual, one community, added to the efforts of others. To that end, the Library Shoppe will be donating a portion of its sales this coming Saturday, Jan. 23, to assist in this vital work. Please join us on Saturday; you will be helping to make a difference.
